| Event Name: | Anatomy of Change |
| Description: | “Future shock is the shattering stress and disorientation that we induce in individuals by subjecting them to too much change in too short a time”. Alvin Toffler.
Living in our fast changing world, we may all be suffering from future shock. Even our best scientists and scholars cannot accurately predict the future. However, we can understand the ‘anatomy of consciousness’: we can learn which thoughts, beliefs and awareness can help us adapt to and enjoy the changes in our lives. More than that, we can actually become the instigators of change - for ourselves first of all and, through this, for the world? |
