Local soldier, Kingsman Anthony Cooper from 1 Lancs, and his family will host a Big Brew Up event and family fun day on 24th September 2011 at Euxton Park Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire. With Anthony’s 24th birthday falling on the same day there will be cause for a double celebration as the family hope to raise money for The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) - Forces Help who helped them after Anthony was injured in Afghanistan on 6th July 2010.
A host of activities including a fun fair, donkey rides, face painting, an exhibition of World War II memorabilia, Fire engine with crew, Goldwings, Tombola, Tea and cake.
