RITA MONASTERO Based in Rome, Rita Monastero is a freelance cookery teacher who works regularly for several well-known schools throughout Italy and specializes in team building. She is the author of Lievito e Coccole (Yeast and Cuddles), Felici Editore 2009, a book on bread and pizza making, and of Biscoccole, Felici Editore 2011 on biscuits and appetizers. In addition to teaching and writing, Rita works as a Home Economist for a famous Italian TV show, for which she creates tantalizing and mouth-watering dishes. Her love of food reflects a passion for traditions and for the use of the best seasonal produce.
ANGELA DEBNATH is a freelance wine lecturer and consultant. She specializes in the wines of Italy - the country that inspired her to pursue an intensive education in wine, and where she first launched her vinous career. Now based in London, Angela teaches wine appreciation and conducts tastings at public and private events throughout the city. Convinced that wine is fundamental to gastronomy, she takes particular pleasure in imparting the joys of food and wine pairing to the wider public.
