| Event Name: | Capturing the Street Life of a Changing City |
| Description: | Writer and artist Liza Dimbleby began walking and drawing in Moscow when she lived there as a student in 1989. She went back 15 years later to walk the city again – and the drawing and writings from this time form a central part of her book “I Live Here Now”, a memoir and record of her life in London, Moscow and Glasgow. Dimbleby will talk about the relationship between drawing, place and memory and her day-to-day encounters with Moscow’s changing landscape. Copies of her book will be on sale. |
