| Description: | Christmas is coming to the Hope Street Quarter on 26th November 2011 with a festive Christmas Fair in and around Blackburne House. Now in its second year and building on last year’s success, the Christmas on Hope Street Fair will boast of a wonderful Arts, Crafts & Vintage Fair and a tabled food gifts market inside Blackburne House. In the walled car park, the fabulous Outdoor Food Market will showcase some of the area’s award-winning and unique eateries including 60 Hope Street, Quarter and Host selling top-quality food, mulled wine and everyone’s Christmas favourites. Stalls offering Christmas paraphernalia and gifts will complement the food outside.
An outdoor performance space hosting choirs and a Christmas Hub with plenty of fun activities for children will add to the festive atmosphere. Shiverpool will be keeping up that fantastic English Christmas tradition of telling creepy ghost stories around the fire.
This family friendly Fair will provide a great opportunity for tourists and residents alike to see what the Hope Street Quarter has to offer - and of course, to pick up some last minute Christmas goodies. |
