Description:The Juilliard School’s renowned student orchestra, composed of some of the best players of the next generation, is joined by student players from London’s Royal Academy of Music in a lively program led by John Adams, a giant among contemporary composers, whose own jazz-inflected symphony City Noir closes the evening. The performers are joined by English piano virtuoso Imogen Cooper, whose passagework the Times of London has described as “exquisite-impeccably even yet full of life.”
