0830 hrs: Meet your tour manager outside the self service ticket machines (by platforms 13-14) at Waterloo Station
0905 hrs: Train departs for Brockenhurst
1037 hrs: Train arrives in Brockenhurst
On arrival at the station, collect our bikes, helmets and locks from our supplier partner (opposite the train station).
OPTION 1:
Join your tour manager for a cycle through ancient woodland with amazing views across open land, enjoy some deer spotting as we cycle past the Deer fields. We will be stopping along the way and a lunch break will be at a local pub (free time). After lunch continue the rest of the cycle track leading us back to Brockenhurst. Free time to explore Brockenhurst Village, maybe enjoy a well-earned cream tea or enjoy at refreshing pint at one of the local pubs!!
Cycle tour - 13 miles. Tarmac and off road tracks, mostly flat, some gradual climbs.
OPTION 2:
If you are feeling a little more adventurous why not take a route map and cycle through the New Forest on your own. Maps will be provided for different cycle tracks available. There are many towns/villages to explore.
1615 hrs: Meet back at Country Lanes cycle centre, return your bike and meet the rest of the group
1645 hrs: Return train back to London Waterloo
1820 hrs: Train arrives back into London Waterloo
What to bring:
Comfortable bike riding clothes
You may wish to bring a packed lunch and stop along the way for a picnic lunch or you can purchase food from a local pub or tea room. |
