| Event Agenda: | The Intensive will be launched with a keynote speech by European Data Protection Supervisor, Peter Hustinx. The keynote speech will be followed by five in-depth sessions on the hottest data protection issues in Europe at the moment. These sessions will be chaired by top law firms with leading pan-European data protection practices. Each firm has recruited expert speakers to provide incisive commentary, analysis, and advice on the issues.
Following the day’s presentations will be a drinks reception and dinner where delegates and speakers can network in a sociable, relaxed environment.
Day Two is started with an introductory speech by Trevor Hughes, Executive Director from the IAPP, followed by interactive sessions with a privacy expert from each European Member State. This year, we have invited leading experts from four additional countries – Turkey, Macedonia, Russia and Croatia. Following a brief update on recent changes to the data protection laws in their jurisdiction, delegates will have the opportunity to consult the experts, questioning them on issues of personal importance. |
