What could be better than enjoying great food and great wine in great company? That’s exactly what the IoD is offering with this event, co-hosted by the International Wine & Food Society (IWFS). So join us to sample a selection of 10 wines from around the globe, which have been carefully paired with canapés (many of the ingredients of which are sourced locally) that bring out the flavours in each.
Tasting notes will be available to guide you through the wines and how their flavours work with the food, and a member of the IWFS will be on hand to answer any questions. But even if you’re not a wine connoisseur, the evening is a great opportunity to meet up with your fellow IoD members as well as introduce new ones.
IWFS is the world’s oldest gastronomic Society with over 6,000 members in 30 countries worldwide encouraging them to take a greater interest in food and wine by understanding more about the route from farm and vineyard to table. |
