“Exclusive Riedel Tasting Premieres at Vinopolis London”
In his only official events in the UK this year, Georg Riedel will present his brand new tasting for the first time in London, this September.
In two ‘premieres’, to be held at Vinopolis, London’s foremost wine venue, Georg Riedel will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wines, using the new Vinum XL Red Wine tasting set.
In what promises to be an entertaining, educational and hugely enjoyable evening, the tutored wine and glass tasting will also include a feature on water and chocolate.
The events will also see the launch of the limited edition Georg Riedel Signature Mamba decanter. Each decanter is individually hand-made by Riedel's most senior master-craftsmen and carries the personal signature of Georg Riedel engraved on the base. The signed piece cannot be bought through retail stores and is exclusively available to those attending the tastings.
The tasting will take place on Friday 30th September, with the doors at Vinopolis opening at 6.00pm and the tasting beginning promptly at 7.00pm
Tickets for the tasting are priced from just £42 per person, when purchased as a group of 6 (£250 group ticket) and all participants will take home £75 worth of Riedel glasses free of charge on the night.
Single tickets are available at £60 each and a ticket for two at £100 (with £75 worth of glasses and £150 worth of glasses to take home respectively).
A limited number of VIP Grand Cru passes have been released at just £350.00, to include entrance for 2, plus a signed Mamba Decanter worth £375.00 and £150.00 worth of glasses to take home. VIP clients also benefit from priority seating at the front of the auditorium and Champagne on arrival.
