As a key supporter of the UK’s first National Wine Month, Riedel is pleased to announce three very special wine and glass tasting events for May 2011.
The tastings are to be conducted by Maximilian Riedel, CEO of Riedel Crystal of America and designer of the globally successful “O” line and many of Riedels best selling decanter designs.
In these fascinating, educational and enjoyable wine and glass tastings, Maximilian Riedel will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of fine wines.
The events will also see the launch of the limited edition Maximilian Riedel Signature Mamba decanter.
Thursday 26th May at Vinopolis, London.
Doors open at 6pm, Tasting starts promptly at 7pm.
Tickets are available from www.riedel.co.uk, priced at £65.00 per person to include £100.00 worth of Riedel glasses to take home and a specially discounted group ticket is available for 6 at £325.00 (with £600.00 worth of glass to take home).
A limited number of VIP Grand Cru passes have been released at just £395.00, to include entrance for 2, plus a signed Mamba Decanter worth £375.00 and £200.00 worth of glasses to take home.
National Wine Month is an initiative co-ordinated by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and is lead by Ian Harris, Chief Executive of WSET. The aim of National Wine Month is, through various activities, promotions and events, to increase consumer awareness and appreciation of wines.
