Description:	Peter Brook introduces his 1979 film which explores the early life of G.I. Gurdjieff who discovered new levels of understanding in his travels though Central Asia. Terence Stamp plays the Russian Prince Lubovedsky whose passionate interest in the unknown leads Gurdjieff (Dragan Maksimovic) and a group of seekers to discover the way to the Sarmoung brotherhood. They journey through the Gobi Desert and the Himalayas to a monastery where Gurdjieff finds a language of forgotten meaning in dances and movements.
