Arrive after 2pm. After settling in, join us for tea and homemade cake in the lounge, or enjoy an Oscar winning movie with ice cream and pop corn in the party room. Later enjoy a three-course dinner in the Langhams AA Rosette restaurant, followed by live entertainment in the party room.
Thursday 30th December -New Years Eve
Start the day with an English Breakfast followed by a walk along the promenade or visit the shops.
Luncheon is served as required in the Restaurant or Bar. Afternoon tea is available in the lounge.
The evening begins with a glass of bubbly, followed by the entrance of the Scottish Piper who will lead you into dinner. A four-course meal with coffee will be served, with cabaret featuring standards from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
A firework display on the beach, will be followed by dancing. A Golden Ticket Draw gives each guest the chance of wnning £100, and the champagne flows as we countdown to midnight. The party finishes at around 1pm, but carries on in the bar until the last person has gone to bed.
Friday 1st January 2010 - New Years Day
Starts with a late breakfast. In the afternoon there is a trip to the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at the Devonshire Park Theatre.
Return for dinner in the Langham Restaurant, followed by entertainment with Richie McGowan, and a chance to win a bottle of champagne with a fun game of Blackjack or Roulette.
Saturday 2nd January 2010
For those departing after breakfast we wish you a safe journey and a happy new year, but others might like to stay on for a Party Night with a disco etc.
