| Event Name: | Repair and Rebalance – A workshop for Men |
| Description: | Many men find it hard to be the person they feel they truly are, both in the workplace and in their personal relationships. Growing from boyhood to manhood, we encountered critical events that shaped us, including injuries to our masculine identity which can limit or handicap us. Positive and effective definitions of masculine identity can enhance our sense of purpose and meaning, and replace negative male stereotyping. The focus of this workshop is to provide information and skills to repair our injuries and rebalance our lives, restoring our resilience and promoting greater personal satisfaction.
Assess yourself in respect to your own physical, psychological, spiritual, and sexual selves to determine how these are integrated into defining who we are as men in the world;
a. Address and repair some key areas where wounding to the male psyche has occurred; effects of gender socialization, expectations of others, father/ son relationships, identifying what my soul work is;
b. Develop specific paths/goals for personal growth and development in each of the four areas;
c. Build connections with other men as a resource to self.
