| Event Name: | Repeat Pattern using Illustrator - Saturdays |
| Description: | This course is for designers who have a basic working knowledge of Illustrator, and wish to learn a combination of simple and complex techniques to create repeat patterns using Illustrator. You will learn how to create patterns using block, brick, drop and sateen repeats.
The course is run at the FTM in a brand-new purpose built learning centre equipped with the latest software and facilities, and tuition is in small groups with a focus on your particular learning requirements.
The course includes the following main topics:
Creating repeat patterns in illustrator
How to accurately position and align design elements
Using Illustrator symbols to create drop and brick repeat pattern designs
Creating intricate tessellating patterns
At the end of the course:
You will receive an FTM certificate of successful completion for your CV
You could develop your skills further by taking a course in Photoshop, InDesign or one of our other courses for designers run here at FTM |
