| Description: | Resolution! is The Places annual, new year open season for shorter dance works. Over 100 works are presented in nightly changing triple bills. After 20 editions of Resolution!, the list of artists who first appeared in the season is a whos who of contemporary dance. They include Russell Maliphant, Mark Baldwin, Wayne McGregor, Charlotte Vincent, Jasmin Vardimon and Hofesh Shechter.
Resolution! Review is the accompanying online resource to Resolution!, publishing two reviews of every single performance. The Place has commissioned six leading dance critics - Donald Hutera, Josephine Leask, Sanjoy Roy, Keith Watson, Graham Watts and Lyndsey Winship - to write independent reviews of all the performances in the season, and to mentor six aspiring dance writers who will also review the works. |
