| Description: | Join a museum curator for a fascinating tour of the remains of Roman Londons military fort, including parts of the City wall. Visit the remains of the forts western gateway, now hidden beneath the modern road, London Wall. The fort was built c. 120AD. Around 200AD the City wall was built around the Roman settlement, incorporating the northern and western walls of the fort. Please note that the fort gate can only be accessed via a short flight of steps and so this visit is not suitable for wheelchair users. |
