This will surely be one of the biggest social events in our calendar, and a cracking way to spend one of the longest days of the summer! Departing Victoria in our private open-topped bus for the day, well get the party started early with some champagne en route, and then we park the bus up in the nearest coach park to the Racecourse, where theres a good atmosphere with loads of people having picnics and pre-race drinks. Well then head through for about 1.30pm in order to watch the Royal Procession and then enjoy the racing. The first race is at 2.30pm and the last at 5.35pm. Well then head back to the bus for more drinks whilst the queues to get out die down a bit (apparently theres a good party atmosphere in the parks at this time). Then well enjoy an open air trip back to London. |
