| Event Name: | Russian Architectural Models of the 1920-s from VKhUTEMAS |
| Description: | Created in 1920 VKhUTEMAS, the leading Moscow art and architectural school of the 1920’s, was a focus of the explosion of innovation and creativity in the arts in the early post-revolutionary era. The survival of several hundred remarkable photographs of models made by architectural students of the school casts light on both contemporary architectural ideas and on the supporting theories of the psychology of art.
Nicholas Bueno de Mesquita will show many of these photographs of the models - in themselves fascinating works of non-representational sculpture - and comment on the background.
Tickets: £7, conc. £5 (Friends of Pushkin House, students and OAPs)
