Signal processing and inference for the physical sciences

Event Name:Signal processing and inference for the physical sciences
Description:Organised by Dr Nick Jones and Dr Thomas Maccarone.

Registration for this event is now open

This meeting will bring together two vibrant research groups for a profitable exchange of ideas: physical scientists working with challenging data and needing tools to make the most of it; and analysts not yet working in these rich scientific fields. We intend the accompanying volume to be a key reference.

The proceedings of this meeting are scheduled to be published in a future issue of Philosophical Transactions A.

Registration
This discussion meeting is intended for researchers in relevant fields and is free to attend, but pre-registration online is essential.

An optional lunch is offered each day for £20+VAT per day, and should be booked at registration. Payment is accepted online by Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Maestro, Electron and Solo cards.

In the event of a booking for lunch being cancelled, the Society can only refund the payment providing the cancellation is received at no later than 5 working days before the Discussion Meeting.

This meeting is followed by a related Satellite meeting at the Kavli Royal Society International Centre entitled Signal processing and physical science from 28 - 28 March 2012.
