Anne Maregiano, Charlemagne Palestine The Golden Sound (2011)
7.45 pm
Today, after forty years of momentums and depressions, departures and unwanted returns, Charlemagne Palestine would give us - thanks to a series of past records (videos, photos and unheard music) - his ultimate private confession: the quest for the “Golden Sound”.
Paul Watson (BBBLOOD) (GB)
9.45 pm
London-based Paul Watson has been experimenting with noise and electronics for over 8 years, constantly changing, working primarily with tape loops, guitar distortion pedals and crude contact-microphoned metallic objects. With over 40 releases his noise can be described as a murky crackle of harsh noise and lo-fi drones.
Lina Lapelyte (LT)
10.30 pm
An artist, composer and academically trained violinist. Her work encompasses sound installations, scores for dance, theatre and film. Since 2005 Lina has been making electronic/electroacoustic music, been part of the laptop quartet Twentytwentyone, and involved in the London improvised music scene - using her prepared or electronically manipulated violin.

Sottovoce, now in its 4th year, is a London-based, multi-venue festival showcasing groundbreaking acts producing challenging, experimental music. Sottovoce aims to expose the experimental musical genre to new audiences whilst maintaining the familiar crowd interested in new forms of presentation.
This year the festival will be based at The Nave for Saturday and Sunday, where the festival will present 8 acts per day in two different spaces: a main resonant hall for loud acts and a church hall for acoustic sets. |
