| Event Name: | TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair 2011 |
| Description: | Welcome to the TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair
The 2011 TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair is sponsored by
Ascot Drummond
The TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair is open from 10.30am to 3.00pm on Saturday 5 March 2011 at Lincoln’s Inn and is the best opportunity for students looking for pupillage to meet representatives from chambers, course providers and other organisations essential to a successful career at the Bar.
You can:
• Talk to chambers’ pupils, tenants and members of pupillage committees and get all your answers to life at the Bar
• Talk to representatives from law schools and other course providers about all things course-related
• Compare different sets and course providers to make the best career match
• Attend talks given by leading barristers about careers at the Bar – a chance to gain insights from among the best in the profession
• Find out how to finance your career at the Bar
• Pick up your must-read copy of the Pupillages Handbook and, if you haven’t got a copy already, the sector-leading TARGETjobs Law.
It’s the only national pupillage fair and contains representatives from the broadest areas of practice.
You’ll be able to compare different sets and course providers and gain a real insight into their different attitudes and cultures.
Brought to you by targetjobs.co.uk/law in association with TARGETjobs Law and the Pupillage Handbook.

| Event Agenda: | Talks programme
Throughout the day, the TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair runs a series of talks on careers at the Bar. They will be held in the Gladstone and Pitt Rooms at 33 Chancery Lane and will be clearly signposted. Please be aware that the talks programme is extremely popular – we would advise you to queue for any talks that interest you well before they are due to start.
You’ll need to re-queue for each talk; priority will be given to students who are already queuing for that particular talk, rather than those who have just left a previous talk.
As a guide to the typical subjects covered during the talks programme and the speakers involved, please see below for details from the 2010 event.
