| Event Name: | The Barbican Art Society |
| Description: | The Barbican Art Society is a small group of artists who all live in the Barbican. Most of its members have been lifelong artists, and use various media - oils, acrylic, watercolour, pen and wash, charcoal and pastel. The pieces in this exhibition demonstrate the use of light, ranging from portraits to landscapes and still life, with some interpretations of classical works. Also included is a collection of sculptures made by a Society member, comprising of busts of family and friends. |
