| Event Name: | The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark |
| Description: | The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark is a brand new children’s opera by acclaimed young composer Oliver Rudland based on Jill Tomlinson’s classic children’s book.
This is an extraordinary project which gives local children the opportunity to be part of a very special performance. It brings together schools from both the private and state sector, as well as the Great St. Mary’s children’s chorus, and gives them the chance to practise and perform with inspirational professional musicians, who have been handpicked both for their skill and for their ability to enthuse those around them. The children will take centre stage in lead roles and as integral players in the orchestra. |
