| Event Name: | The Primitives - The Blanche Hudson Weekend - Slowgun |
| Description: | The Primitives emerged from the independent scene of the mid-Eighties that begat, amongst others, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, the Soup Dragons and the Wedding Present. They shared a love of melody, the Sixties, fast Ramones-influenced guitars and the pop sensibility of the Buzzcocks and Orange Juice. Support from ex-Manhattan Love Suicides combo, The Blanche Hudson Weekend, and the catchy lo-fi songs of Slowgun. This is the second night of the Club AC30 presented mini-season Reverence #3
Spread over three nights, Reverence is a celebration of swirling fuzzy guitars, huge walls of noise and shimmering waves of feedback. Also featured are live sets from Norway's finest Serena Maneesh and legendary Cocteau Twins guitarist and composer Robin Guthrie playing an exclusive set with members of Heligoland. |
