| Description: | A major new exhibition and events programme at Asia House.
For the people of Asia, the tiger is an enduring and powerful symbol of cultural identity. It has inspired countless legends, beliefs, poems and works of art. The tiger is now the most threatened animal species in the world, a potent reminder of the vital need to preserve wild life and protect natural environments around the globe.
The exhibition will present Asian paintings, sculptures, textiles, photographs and other works of art, drawn from the British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and private collections. From historical to contemporary, the exhibits will cover many Asian countries and regions, including India, China, Japan, Korea and South East Asia. |

By bus There are a number of buses available to Asia house, to plan your trip to Asia House with Transport for London’s on-line journey planner, By car There are limited public parking in the streets surrounding Asia House (free at the weekends and after 18.30). But Asia house is located close to several NCP parking locations. |
