Hirschhorn’s installations and community-specific projects astutely reference and intersect philosophy, popular culture, economics and politics. During this talk Hirschhorn will principally address his work, Cavemanman, presented in Walking in My Mind, where he has transformed one of the galleries into a series of caves filled with the products and detritus of modern civilization, from philosophical writings to posters and used drink cans.
