The theme is inspired from the work of Salvador Dali and Sigmund Freud’s theory of dreams, ‘Vivid’ exhibition takes us on a journey that transforms the human thoughts and desires into surreal visions that we experience through dreams. According to Sigmund Freud dreams are like a train that transport our thoughts from one place to another once we ‘disconnect from reality’ (S.Freud).
Depicting scenes of surreal visions and unwanted desires that the human mind creates, interrupting time, place and space of a certain event. The theme of the artwork that we are looking for involves surreal events or scenes that one experience through dreams. It could be real, a fantasy or a desire.
Artspace-Galleries was founded in 2006 in Mayfair, the heart of London. Soon after, they opened their doors to the Parisian public. A prestigious gallery, its aim is to represent and promote emerging contemporary artists. Its dual nationality - French/English - has allowed the gallery to create a unique network of international artists and collectors, while offering the artist increased visibility and the opportunity to show their work in two of the most influential art centres in the world.
