| Event Name: | World in Motion Day |
| Description: | This summer, the Barbican Centre and the Guildhall School collaborate with the Shoreditch Trust to take World in Motion (WiM) to Shoreditch Festival in a day created by young people for all people, featuring live music, dance and film.
Confirmed acts include Lazy Habits, Moleque de Rua and Boy Blue Entertainment.
Also taking part in the day are WiM drumming groups from Tower Hamlets’ Morpeth School, Islington’s Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Language College and Hackney’s Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form, supported by the Learning Trust.
World in Motion (WiM) is a large-scale creative collaboration between the Barbican and the Guildhall School, supported by Arts Council England. It gives young Londoners from across the Olympic and City fringe boroughs the chance to develop their artistic and performance skills through working with professional artists from Guildhall Connect and the Barbican’s joint network of local, national and international artists and workshop leaders.
