'In a period of five years I wrote three trios all in five movements - Phantasmagoria for piano trio (Ensemble SCENATET), Schattenlinie for clarinet, viola and piano (Cikada Ensemble) and Gondole for string trio (Trio Aristos). At the same time I always felt they were part of the same piece. A tapestry of trios where the 15 movements together are part of the same story, mirroring each other in the different trios.
