People of London love art. The National Gallery in London houses the maximum

The Imperial War Museum is hosting a War to Windrush exhibition in March. The
highlight of this exhibition is the personal stories about black men and women
during the World Wars. Lectures and talks have also been organised to mark the
occasion.
The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is providing a glimpse into coastal
life of the British through its Beside the Seaside exhibition of photographs and
other coastal memorabilia. It is aimed at widening knowledge about life along
the British coast.
The ongoing Art of the Poster exhibition at London Transport Museum and the
Byzantium 330-1453 exhibition at Royal Academy of Arts are worth a visit. The
unique poster exhibition has on display posters used by the public transport
network of London. The exhibition features the first graphic poster of the
London Underground commissioned in 1908. There are many other such unique pieces
on exhibit. The featured artists are Alan Fletcher, John Hassall etc. There are
more than sixty original works on display. The history lovers would find
Byzantium at the Royal Academy of Arts, interesting since it provides an insight
and extensive analysis of thousand years of history. Antioch Chalice (Holy
Grail) and the cup Christ used at the Last Supper are featured here. Apart from
these there are ancient treasures from Russia, Egypt, USA and Europe.
Statuephilia will be hosted at the British Museum in November. This unique
exhibition will feature five major works by renowned artists. The works would be
added to the permanent collection here. The works are fusions of contemporary
art with relation to history.
The Art Trolley Session at Tate Britain is an exceptional family show. The show
is packed with events and activities for bringing out the bidding artists. The
art works made by the children can be photographed and displayed at the Gallery.
